I know I said I'd message yesterday but time got away from me, not much moved forward until today/overnight anyway.

Payments

Some people's payments have failed, so if you've had a message from Kickstarter about this, it would be great if you could rectify it as soon as possible. Thank you to those who already have.

Survey Smoke Test

I was hoping to get surveys out much quicker but Backerkit proved a bit slow. I've now got approval to send out a "Smoke Test" which will send out surveys to a small number of you - they'll be from "The List Comic Book" when they arrive in your inbox. 

This is to test that everything is working and I haven't messed anything up on the back end. Everything you've ordered will appear in your basket, including any Kickstarter add-ons you've chosen. 

If any unexpected additional costs appear when going through the Backerkit checkout then let me know ASAP and don't complete the order. There will be something I need to fix. 

There are backerkit add-ons available, should you choose one of those there will be an extra shipping cost added to your order.

48 Hours To Go!

Hi everyone, a few things to update you on.

First off, just over 48 hours left on the campaign! If you know anyone who’d enjoy our comic then please pass it on to them before it's too late.

This is now our most successful campaign by far both in terms of funding raised and the number of people who’ve backed, so thank you all for being a part of it!

As we are so close to the end of the campaign I just wanted to mention fulfilment. Surveys will be sent out through Backerkit - either Friday or over the weekend. I'll need the responses back ASAP so I can add the names to the "Special Thanks" section and get it sent off to the printer.

Thanks again for backing our project, it means a lot to us!

Stretch Goal #6

Since the last update we've flown by the total for the fifth stretch goal! Thank you to everyone who's joined us since then.

Our sixth Stretch Goal is another two pages of concept art for the graphic novel, this time of Jesus and a mystery character. Again, these will be made available digitally for everyone as well.

This week an article I wrote was posted onto a great website for indie comics called The Comic Book Yeti. It's about the most commonly asked questions I've had from people over the last few years about running a Kickstarter campaign. Hopefully it's interesting enough and has information in there that will help someone looking to run their own Kickstarter.

There's just 5 days left on the campaign so if you know anyone who'd be interested in reading our comic please pass the Kickstarter on to them.

I'll be back next week with more information of what to expect after the campaign ends next Thursday.

Just Over a Week Left!

Hi everyone,

Just over a week until the campaign ends and things are going pretty well. We’re currently hovering around the £5k mark so we’re hoping we can push on and unlock the next Stretch Goal soon.

We’ve had some feedback from the select few who’ve read through issue #4 for us and we’re in the process of addressing that. We are fixing minor spelling/grammar issues and making small changes to some of the dialogue to make what's happening just a little clearer. Feedback for it has been very positive though!

I’m hoping to send a first draft of the graphic novel to the printer this weekend. He’ll then print the proofs and send them to me. From there we’ll update any problems, like fixing lettering, and add in things like the Special Thank You list.

I'll send an update when I have the proofs in hand so you can all see them!
